The heat-reflective animal blanket is an innovative invention, in my opinion it saves electricity and energy because it only "works" with the user's own body heat.
The size is ideal for our cats (or for small dogs too). I had to wash the cover before first use as it still smelled like chemicals so my cats didn't accept it. I put 1-2 drops of catnip on the freshly washed mat. So they were very happy to use the cats and sat on them, rolled around with relish and later fell asleep.
My cat who has really long hair and was getting really hot in the summer so bought this on a whim..and wow she loves it..because its plastic covering I didnt she would take to it ..but how wrong I was. Its easy to keep clean.. but Misty lies on it so it's got to be comfortable.
