What does “thicken” mean as shown in your title of product?

"thicken" means our splash sprinkle pad for dogs is made of thickened materials which is 0.45mm, much thicker than other splash pads, more durable and dogs can't rip it easily, but we also recommend trim your pets’ nails before use this water pad for dogs

Does this constantly run? Does it recirculate the water? Or does it come on and off even when hooked to the hose?

The water constantly runs but you can control the flow rate with your spigot. The water is not recirculated and will ultimately overflow the pool. Our dogs are having lots of fun with this pool and we only use it for short periods of time so the water usage has not been an issue for us.

Can you shut off the sprinkler?

The sprinkler part fills up the mat with water. The water only comes out the little holes on the ring around it.

Tips for using dog splash sprinkler pad for dogs:

1. Please control the water pressure reasonably to prevent the spray direction towards outside.
2. Please TRIM your dogs' nails before using the dog splash pad.
3. Please connect your garden water pipe ( 3/4" solid brass connector or 0.63" inner diameter water pipe) to the faucet tightly.
4. Please do not place the dog sprinkler on hard and uneven surfaces.
5. Please do not move the pet splash pad when full of water.
6. Please get the splash pad for dogs away from direct sunlight and heat.

    We're already hitting triple digits in Arizona and I wish I'd found this wonderful splash pad years ago. Both of our dogs lost their minds with happiness when I set this up. They had a fantastic playtime with both the fountain effect and just tromping around inside the pool. Great way for them to cool off and get some exercise when it's just too hot for their normal trail runs. Reasonably priced with easy setup right out of the box -- basically set it down and hook up the hose -- and held up very well against their rough play. Seems very durable and looking forward to an entire summer of cool playtime in the desert heat! Highly recommend if your dogs love water, and this would be fun for small children as well!

    I ordered for my kids who can't swim yet. They opened right away when it arrived. It was easy to assemble. Can’t go wrong with this for the summer time. This is so much fun and I took a lot of beautiful pictures of my kids with this splash pad.

    I loved everything about it...Size, ease of set up, durability. You can adjust the height of the water. Once the water starts to fill the tube, it can be a great little play pool for infants (attended of course)

    If you turn the water all the way on the sprinkles do get pretty high my dogs don’t like it on that setting they prefer a lighter setting. No complaints tho it’s a nice toy to turn on during the summer

    This was a great purchase for our dog and owners alike as it was impossible to find pools last summer due to Covid! I have to admit our dog was intimidated by the squirting feature, but once the sides and middle filled up we turned off the faucet and used it as a paddling pool. She loved it. It was very durable, easy to dry and drain and put away. We used it off and on all summer!
